Corona Virus Update 6/7

Hospitalizations in Connecticut are down to 333.
They peaked at 1,972 on April 21.

We need to push for an eventual return to “normal infection control practices,” what the CDC calls “conventional capacity.”
I fear the reuse of PPE could become the new normal and that means increased risk of cross contamination between patients and greater risk to caregivers.

Also, please continue to impress on members the importance of filing for Worker’s Compensation if they become ill.

Be well,
John
